White has spent his career leading executive teams in implementing communications strategies that optimize internal performance and achieve mutually beneficial engagement with external partners, stakeholders and customers.
- He is Vice Chancellor for Economic Advancement for the University System of Ohio, where he leads strategies for Ohio’s 61 universities, regional campuses, and community colleges that contribute to the state’s economic growth.
- As a research associate with the Kettering Foundation, he has written numerous articles on institutional leadership and external engagement, including Toward Collective Foresight: The Leadership Challenges for Higher Education’s Future and The Times Demand Innovation: Responding to Declining Resources and Heightened Accountability, both of which he co-authored for the American Council on Education.
- Dr. White’s degrees are from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and Ohio University.
